Heer Raanjha is a 1970 film, produced by son Ketan Anand and directed by father Chetan Anand. The film stars Raaj Kumar, Priya Rajvansh, Pran, Prithviraj Kapoor, Ajit, Jayant, Sonia Sahni, Kamini Kaushal, Indrani Mukherjee, Achla Sachdev and Tun Tun. The film's music is by Madan Mohan.

The film is based on the legend of Heer Ranjha, the epic poem Heer by Punjabi poet, Waris Shah, written in 1766. The film is unique in the fact that the entire film and its dialogue is in verse, Kaifi Azmi writing the verse dialogue.

Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya are parents of bride Katrina Kaif in new shoot, share pics with Nagarjuna, Shivraj Kumar, Prabhu - bollywood

Actor Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog on Thursday to share pictures from a new project for a ‘client’ in which he posed with three superstars from south, apart from Katrina Kaif and his wife and actor Jaya Bachchan. According to reports, the shoot was for the jewellery brand Kalyan Jewellers. In the photos, Amitabh and Jaya are seen ushering Katrina to the mandap as she is dressed in wedding splendour. The ‘father’ and ‘mother’ of the bride are dressed in wedding finery too. They are all in North Indian-styled wedding clothes. In many other pictures, which are now viral, the three sport South Indian-styled clothes as well -- Amitabh is in a pearly white veshti, a matching white shirt with cloth tied around his head, Katrina is in a bright green silk sari while Jaya is in a brown-deep yellow sari. In some of the pictures, while Amitabh and Katrina can be see dancing, Jaya can be seen laughing. Nushrat Bharucha cast inverse him. The lead character will have three accents in the film. Ahmed Khan is arranging the hits the dance floor with Khurrana in sari.

Nandini and Aishwarya both highlighted the need for transparency at NGOs and how millennials want to know exactly where their money is going, while Natasha stated the importance of engaging content and ease of transactions.

Fashion designer, Sonaakshi Raaj, who is also a bride-to-be, spoke about how she found the concept of a wedding charity registry so useful and so well aligned with her own value system especially since she did not want boxed gifts on her big day.
